BYRON – A1033178
5-5-2015 Manhattan
Previous |
**GONE 05/05/15** Handsome BYRON earned an EXPNOCHILD rating when the ACC gave him a behavior evaluation, way back on 4/17. That great passing rating is necessary before an animal can be adopted out from the ACC, but of course, finding good homes for pets is not the forte of the ACC. Their forte is in killing adoptable pets, which is exactly what they have scheduled for Byron. This is a GOOD cat who is facing a terrible death, tomorrow, unless a foster/adopter can be found for him tonight!

04/17/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Byron looks tense in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Byron remains crouched down hiding in his cat den. Reaction to touch: Byron accepts a stroke, but hisses and turns his head away from the assessor’s hand. Placement determination: Experience / no child Byron tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
