***SAFE – 05/01/15*** PERFECTLY HEALTHY YOUNG TABBY GIRL WILL DIE DUE TO HER FEAR – PLEASE GRANT BUTTERCREAM A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Beautiful two-year-old brown tabby and white girl BUTTERCREAM was stuffed into the ACC’s Death Camp for Kitties as a supposed “STRAY”, but this dear girl had NO fleas or ear mites. Poor Buttercream is a lost or abandoned pet kitty. The scary shelter setting has Buttercream utterly TERRIFIED, so when she was poked and prodded with the ACC’s frightening fake hand (used for cat behavior tests), she acted DEFENSIVELY. The ACC punished her with New Hope Only and fast-tracked her to the noon kill list for tomorrow, despite the fact that Buttercream is PERFECTLY HEALTHY! Please open your heart and home to this excellent scared girl, who will calm down as soon as she escapes the ACC hellhole. Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt scared tabby girl BUTTERCREAM from the approved New Hope rescue groups! If you can’t save BUTTERCREAM yourself, please SHARE her sad story and PLEDGE for her rescue!

04/28/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Buttercream was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. She seems to not be thriving in this environment and at the time of the assessment Buttercream was displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. She is extremely fearful and currently does not tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time. Reaction to assessor: In cat den (3) When spoken quietly: Stays in cat den (3) Reaction to door cage opening: retreats further in den (3) Reaction to touch: moves away from me, hisses (4) Try picking cat up: not tolerant of this type of handling, very afraid Placement Determination: NewHope
