BURBERY IS A HUGE CLASS ACT—PLEASE BE HIS RESCUE ANGEL! Burbery is a terrific three year old tabby who lost his home when his owner had to move to a no-pets residence. This great boy who came into the shelter just two short days ago is purrfectly healthy, neutered, friendly and good with everyone including kids. He tolerated all petting and handling so we are not really sure why he didn’t score higher than an experienced no kids rating. The truth is this is a gentleman of a cat who deserves a new loving home. At 24 lbs., there’s a lot of Burbery to love. If you can open up your heart and home to this great guy, you can reserve him online or contact a NH rescue for assistance of delivering this darling directly to your doorstep. Won’t you please be Burbery’s rescue angel? Save a life. Make a difference.

BEHAVIOR Burberry has no known behavior issues. He enjoys being brushed. He doesn’t mind being woken up or cleaned with cat wipes. He got baths up until he was 1 year old. At first, he was nervous during them, but he was becoming more comfortable with it. He struggles when picked up and held and when put in a carrier. He’s nervous in the car. INTAKE Burberry was tense and tried to walk/climb off the counter during handling-scan (negative), collar, petting, positioning for pictures. He was very tolerant with us holding him and preventing him from walking off the counter. He walked out of his carrier when we took the lid off and walked into his new carrier on his own. He didn’t resist or vocalize.
