BUGALOO – A0802409
6-1-2015 Manhattan
*** SAFE 06/01/15 *** OUR BUDDY “BUGALOO” HAS BEEN RETURNED TWICE AND WE CAN’T FIGURE OUT WHY….A vonuteer writes: “Dusty” Bugaloo looks a little bit unkempt – but who can blame the poor boy as he has fallen on hard times and was found as a stray. This boy is already neutered so he must have belonged to someone before. Despite all this he has retained a gentle and sweet disposition – he’s the nicest and bestest boy cat! He is 3yrs old and rated NO CONCERN. A staff member writes: I hope you have a brush, because if not, your home will have a gentle coating of white. Either way, you wouldn’t even care because Bugaloo is so nice. He barely needs to sniff you before letting you pet, hold, and love him. I put him in our little room for cat interactions so we could see him outside of the cage environment and he was on my lap or rubbing against my legs more often than he was anywhere else in the room. If you want a constant cuddle buddy, look no further. Another volunteer writes: So soft and so gentle this guy is the cat’s meow. Bugaloo hasn’t had much luck in his life so maybe you can turn that around. Come and meet him and offer him that permanent home. His heart asks for pleasure and he has so much to offer. Happy and sweet and friendly what more can you ask for? WHAT DO YOU SAY? THE THIRD TIME CAN BE THE CHARM FOR BUGALOO!!

05/28/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Bugaloo engages when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Bugaloo seeks affection, leans forward with tail up and remains at the front of the cage. Reaction to touch: Bugaloo head-butts the assessor’s hand, but began to moderately nip and swat after a few strokes. He then retreats to his cage bedding, sits upright and becomes alert with soft eyes. Placement determination: Experience / no child Bugaloo tolerates attention and petting but may be stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
