Safe 10-23-2015 Brooklyn Rescue: Staten Island Hope Please honor your pledges: http://www.statenislandhoperescue.org/
***SAFE 10/23/15*** Another attempt from the ACC to “try” and help this mom and baby by putting out a SPECIAL PLEA for them. Mom is BUFFALO, a 2 year old female who IS PUBLICLY available to ADOPT…of course she needs EXPERIENCE because of her fearfulness. Baby is HUNTER, a 3 week old male who MUST HAVE a NEW HOPE RESCUE pull but he also needs a FOSTER… He’s just too young to adopt just yet but please, is someone out there who can take both? Just FOSTER both for now. It will save 2 lives and you will be 1 special person!

10/09/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Buffalo does not come to front. She appears tense When spoken quietly: Buffalo does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: Buffalo remains motionless Reaction to touch: Buffalo was tense but allowed petting Try picking cat up: Buffalo tolerant of this type of handling but tense. Behavior Determination: Experience At the time of the assessment was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer. I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. I was also able to pick her up and although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that Bufalo goes to a home with experienced cat parents.
