Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Buddy looks tense in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Buddy remains crouched down at the back of his cage, alert with ears down. Reaction to touch: Buddy does not allow the stroke, retreats further to the back, and attempts to hide from the assessor’s hand. Placement determination: Experience / no child Buddy tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
