*** SAFE 05/17/15 *** BEAUTIFUL BUBBLE TEA IS A TERRIFIC TORTIE…A Staff Member Writes: “Bubble Tea. A curious name for a curious cat. Bubble Tea is the kind of cat who likes to know what’s goin’ on. Whenever you walk past her kennel she pokes her head out to check the scene. When you see Bubble Tea’s beautiful coloring it’s hard not to stop and say hello. This friendly feline likes to nuzzle her head into your hand for some much deserved head rubs. Bubble Tea came to us as a stray and she was quite nervous upon arrival. After spending a little time in the shelter she has really warmed up and let her true personality shine. I believe that after settling into her new home, Bubble Tea would be the perfect addition to any family. She would be happy to roam on her own or snuggle up next to you on the couch for some prime time television. Please come meet this stunner today!” HAVE A CUP OF “BUBBLE TEA” TONITE AND MAKE HER PART OF YOUR FAMILY!!

04/25/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
04/25/15 16:16 Bubble Tea was surrendered as a stray. She is a beautiful Tortie Shell cat estimated to be around 2. According to the finder she spent time with, Bubble Tea is not very attention seeking and spends most of her time laying aound. She does play with all cat toys and has always used the litter box. She has not hissed or swatted at the finder. At intake Bubble was very quiet in her carrier and allowed the counselor to pet her nose and face, but made no attempt to come out of the carrier. The carrier had to be taken apart so that Bubble could be picked up out of the carrier- which she allowed. Once in the carrier she stayed to the back. Counselor scanned her, but did not attempt to collar her in order to make it as stressless as possible for Bubble Tea.

04/29/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Bubble Tea was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer but after a steady low approach using soft voices she relaxed a little and I was able to pet her and interact with her. I was also able to pick her up and although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral (2) When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral (2) Reaction to door cage opening: remains motionless (2) Reaction to touch: seems indifferent to my presence and touch (2) Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling but very tense. Placement Determination: Experience
