04/17/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
04/17/15 10:58 Basic Info: Bruno is a 10 year old neutered cat who has had a prior urinary obstruction that required surgery in 2009. Due to this he is unable to use small grain litter because it will cause the obstruction to occur. Social Life and Personality: According to owner he is relaxed and affectionate towards children ad plays gentle with them. He is relaxed, affectionate, and very tolerant of other cats (lived with A1033457, A1033458, and A1033460) and when he plays it is exuberant to slightly rough (he will run around and pounce them, does not bite or swat but will land on top of them). He has not been around dogs so his behaviors are unknown. He is litter box trained, kept indoors, and has a medium level of energy. He was described as playful, mellow, friendly, and affectionate. Behavior: He has not bitten or scratched anyone or any animal before. He will swat if his nails are clipped but enjoys being brushed. He is not bothered when woken up from sleep or picked up and held but does struggle if placed into a carrier by trying to escape and hide. New Family Info: He is used to crystal litter inside a hooded box. He plays with balls, catnip toys, and string. He uses a vertical scratching post made out of rough rope and carpet. At home he will be in the same room as owner and plays gentle to exuberant with them. He is afraid when traveling in a car and will try to escape and cries loudly. He was fed both wet and dry food (Purina for UTI health) and slept anyplace he felt comfortable. Intake Behavior: During intake allowed to be scanned (negative), collared, pictured, and transferred without aggression. When outside the carrier he had stiff body and would retreat from extended hand but when placed into carrier he would sit at front and approach hand and sniff it.
