BRUCE – A1035140
5-9-2015 Manhattan Rescue: ***SAFE*** Pulled by Staten Island Hope- Donation website: http://www.statenislandhoperescue.org/ Please honor your pledges:
**SAFE- 05/09/15** Bruce is an exceptionally handsome 5-year-old fellow who thought he would take in some fresh air, and went for a stroll along the grand concourse. Rather than enjoy his day, Bruce was scooped up by someone, passed from brother to sister, and finally brought to the ACC as a stray. Bruce is a little bit rattled by this unreal chain of events, plus he has a couple of little issues that should probably be seen by a competent vet. Bruce is a lovely cat who needs a safe, loving foster/adoptive home so he can thrive. Please advocate fiercely for Bruce, tonight!

05/06/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Bruce looks neutral in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Bruce was lying down by the front, until the cage door opened, then retreats and sat up in place. Reaction to touch: Bruce slowly accepts the touch on his head, but along the body he warns the assessor to stop the stroke by moderately nipping at the hand then began to low tail flick. Placement determination: Experience / no child Bruce tolerates attention but may be stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
