Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Brooks behavior was monitored by the enichment faciliator prior to her evaluation. They noticed Brooks is showing signs of being very nervous and tense in the care center. Reaction to assessor: Brooks does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: Brooks does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: Brooks remains motionless Reaction to touch: Brooks seems indifferent to my presence and touch Try picking cat up: Brooks is tolerant of this type of handling but tense. Behavior Determination: Experience At the time of the assessment Brooks was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer. I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. I was also able to pick her up and although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
