***SAFE 07/20/15 *** “THIS CAT IS A LOVER OF PEOPLE” and BROOK is also a gourmand…..”She enjoys being in the kitchen while food is being made”…..BROOK is a super lady. Another wonderful cat being surrendered for the vague “Personal Problems” excuse. She does have some teeth that need work and once that’s done she will be pleased as punch…..IF YOU CAN’T ADOPT, PLEASE CONSIDER FOSTERING…the rescue will pick up the vet tab while you help find BROOK a new LOVING home….PLEASE DON’T WAIT, SO MANY CATS ARE GONE NOW….DON’T LET BROOK BE ONE OF THEM…..

She enjoys being in the kitchen while food is being made. Social Life and Personality: Brook has had some experience with kids and she does okay around them as long as they aren’t bothering her too much. She might do best in a home without children. Brook comes from a home where there was a medium sized dog and they respected each other’s space. The cat is litter box trained and she never has any problems or accidents. She is a low to medium activity level cat. Brook is friendly, quiet and pretty independent. Cat’s Behavior: This kitty is not at all a fan of bath time. She will struggle if she is put into the tub. Brook is fine with having her nails trimmed as long as it is done fast. She loves a good brushing and will lay out until she has had enough. Brook will allow you to hold her for a short time but she really does not seem to like it much. She will go into the carrier but it takes some time. Patients is important. For a New Family to Know: Brook is used to Fresh Step litter in her uncovered box. Brook rarely likes to play but when she does it’s with string or wand toys. Brook likes to sleep on the bed at night. Behavior During Intake: Brook came in with Chilly. They both were pretty soft body during intake. They were not playful but they did allow for handling without a problem.
