06/28/15 13:19 Basic Information: Britney was found as stray cat a few days go. She appears healthy. She used te litter box and was friendly and affectionate with the rescuer. Intake Behavior: Britney sat nar the front of the carrier. She had a soft body and slowly blinked her eyes. She allowed to be picked up out of the carrier and placed on the counter for photos. She did not show any aggressive behaviors.

Notes: Britney was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying timid behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, allows handling and tolerates all petting. Britney is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed When spoken quietly: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: allows petting and attention Try picking cat up: becomes tense when handled Placement Determination: Average
