BOPPITY – A1042675
7-11-2015 Brooklyn
***GONE 07/11/15***BOPPITY needs YOU! Poor BOPPITY doesn’t have a clue where he is. At 2 years old all he knows is that he is in a strange place that had taken him from his life as a stray. When brought in and evaluated he was “fearful and does not tolerate petting” and because of a natural reaction of being the scared kitty that he is, he was slapped with a NEW HOPE RESCUE ONLY rating! Please apply to NEW HOPE RESCUES to foster or adopt this kitty, or pledge for his rescue. Most of all, dig deep into your heart and find it in yourself to give this frightened guy a chance, and he will come out of his shell and love you forever for it!

07/10/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Boppity was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. He seems to not be thriving in this environment and at the time of the assessment Boppity was displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. He is extremely fearful and currently does not tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time. Reaction to assessor: was hiding when I approach cage When spoken quietly: continues to hide Reaction to door cage opening: growls, hisses, charging Reaction to touch: growls, hisses, strikes, does not allows petting at all Try picking cat up: did not attempt to pick the cat up, fractious behavior. Placement Determination: NewHope
