**SAFE 05/17/15** Boo and Tazzy Are Matching Neutered Hug Machines Who Need You Tonight! These 4-year-old boys are both reported as being super nice cats, according to the owner surrender sheets, and both boys are feeling a little rattled by their scary new surroundings. Despite their fear, Boo and Tazzy have put their best feet forward and earned excellent EXPERIENCE ratings. Orange cats are loads of fun, and a matched set is that much sweeter! 05/11/15 13:37 Basic Information: Boo is a 4yr old male domestic short haired cat that has no past or current medical issues according to the owner. Social Life & Personality: Boo has been around children and plays with them in a gentle manner. This behavior is also displayed when interacting with other cats. He also lived with his sibbling ans got along with him fine as well. The owner isn’t sure how he will respond in the presence of a dog due to never having one present for them tointeract with. Boo is an indoor only cat that is litter box trained. Boo is descibed to be playful, friendly, and affectionate with a high activity level. Behavior Issues: The owner isn’t sure how Boo will respond to recieving an actual bath due to never trying to do so. Boo is used to recieving “Dry Baths” according to the owner. Boo is afraid of recieving a nail trim and it can be a bit of a struggle trying to trim his nails. He does enjoy having his coat brushed and this can be done without issue. Boo doesn’t enjoy being held and prefers not to be picked up. He isn’t used to being put in a cat carrier and this can be a struggle getting him into one. For a New Family to Know: Boo was brought up using clumping litter and a standard litter box. He enjoys all sorts of cat toys and will play with just about anything. Boo did have a scratching post and used it pretty often according to the owner. When in the home Boo is the type to follow you around seeking attention. When interacting with humans Boo plays in a gentle manner. When in the car Boo appears to be afraid and will meow/cry. Boo was brought up eating both wet/dry food and the brands the owner gave were Friskies & Purina Cat Chow.

(3) Reaction to touch: Allows petting but appears nervous, body tense. (2) Reaction to being picked up: Did not attempt, cat appears stressed. Notes: Boo was surrendered to the shelter by an owner who described him as playful and affectionate, and noted that he got along well with children and his sibling. At the time of the assessment, Boo is displaying nervous body language. He does not interact with the assessor but tolerates handling. Boo is exhibiting behavior suited to experienced cat parents who can help him adjust to a new home.
