BONZAI – A1045604
8-1-2015 Manhattan
***GONE 08/01/15*** BONZAI came in to ACC with 4 other cats, one who’s life has already been taken and the others still waiting in the wings-DEVOE – A1045603 ,BIV – A1045602,BELL – A1045601. BONZAI is 2 years old, and was gentle and quite frightened during her intake, as any cat who’s not used to the loud chaos of ACC would be. She’s a lovely tortie with big eyes and dappled gold markings, and she doesn’t deserve to die because of a landlord conflict (people often won’t advocate for themselves and their animals with landlords-though they can). BONZAI’s picture isn’t one that will draw attention to her-but tonight she really needs you. One of her fur friends has already been killed and BONZAI is in grave danger of that now too. Please-this is such a dear little girl, who loved having her head scritched and being petted. She really needs you. Don’t let her be killed-save her precious life by offering to foster or adopt…Save BONZAI NOW!

07/30/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Bonzai looks tense in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Bonzai remains crouched down at the back of the cage, alert with pupils fully dilated. Reaction to touch: Bonzai accepts the stroke, but stiffens during the touch and attempts to lean away from the assessor’s hand. Placement determination: Experience / no child Bonzai tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
