06/12/15 18:55 Basic Information: Bodhi is a 13 year old neutered male cat. Owner stated she had him since he was 5 months old. Bodhi hasn’t been to the vet in 13 years. Owner believes he has a mouth infection. Owner had to surrender Bodhi due to moving to another country. Social Life and Personality: Bodhi lived with one female adult and never been around children. Owner stated Bodhi is friendly towards visitors that come to the household. Bodhi never been around a dog but owner stated she tried to bring a kitten home before and Bodhi was hissing and growling at the kitten. Bodhi is indoors only and activity level is high. Owner stated he is playful, mellow, friendly and affectionate. Behavior Issues: Bodhi never bitten or scratched anyone to owner’s knowledge. He has a habit of scratching on furniture. Bodhi only had a bath when a kitten and hasn’t had a nail trim in a long time. He likes to be picked up and held. He isn’t bothered being out in carrier or disturb while sleeping. For a New Family to Know: Bodhi is litter box trained and uses an uncovered litter box. He likes to play with balls, feathers, mice toys and straws. He likes belly rubs and to follow owner around the house. He had a scratching post made out of carpet. Bodhi eats wet food called Friskies and dry food called 9 lives twice a day. Bodhi likes to sleep in the kitchen or on sofa. Intake Behavior: Upon intake Bodhi was meowing and panting. He scanned negative for a microchip and allowed all handling when not trying to flee.
