08/19/15 19:09 Basic Information: Bobby is 1yr old neutered male domestic short haired cat that has no past or current medical issues according to the owner. Social Life & Personality: Bobby comes from a home with children and he got along with fine and interacted with them in a playful gentle manner. The owner isn’t sure how Bobby would respond in the presence of another cat or dog due to never having either around for him to interact with. Bobby is an indoor only cat that is litter box trained. Bobby is described to be friendly, playful, and affectionate with a medium activity level. Behavior Issues: Bobby has never bitten a person or another animal according to the owner. The owner isn’t sure how bobby would respond to recieving a bath due to never attempting to give him one. However he takes well to having his nails trimmed and the brushing of his coat. Bobby likes to be held but will struggle when putting him in a cat carrier for transport. For a New Family to Know: Bobby was brought up using regular clay litter and a hooded litter box. Bobby enjoys all sorts of cat toys and will play with just about anything according to the owner. When in the home Bobby is the type to follow you around seeking attention. When interacting with humans Bobby plays in a gentle manner. When in the car for transport Bobby appears to be afraid and will meow/cry. Bobby was brought up eating both wet/dry food and the brands the owner gave were Friskies & Fancy Feast.

Reaction to assessor: Sleeping when I approach cage. (1) Reaction to being spoken to quietly: Does not come to the front but looks at me, soft. (1) Reaction to cage door opening: Remains soft and relaxed. (1) Reaction to touch: Enjoys petting and attention. (1) Reaction to being picked up: Calmly jumps down from arms. Notes: Bobby came to the shelter surrendered by an owner who describes him as friendly and affectionate and notes that he got along well with children. At the time of the assessment, Bobby is displaying friendly behavior. He does not approach the assessor, but appreciates handling. Bobby is exhibiting behavior suited to average cat parents.
