Gorgeous black tabby and gray kitten BLUE EYES (whose eyes are no longer blue, but a beautiful GOLDEN color) was sadly surrendered into the kill-happy ACC due to “TOO MANY PETS”. At home, Blue Eyes was just PURR-fect: “Around strangers Blue Eyes is friendly/outgoing and affectionate. Blue Eyes‘s play style with adults is gentle & exuberant. Blue Eyes lived with other Cats and he got along well with them, his play style with the Cats ranges from gentle-somewhat rough. They play together during the day and sleep in a bundle at night. He enjoys being brushed, he enjoys being picked up and held: “he’s a lover, he’s very affectionate”. Blue Eyes is described as friendly, affectionate, playful & talkative. His activity level is described as low-high. The owner’s favorite thing about Blue Eyes is how sweet & affectionate he is. Blue Eyes enjoys lying around and “hanging out with his siblings”. When the owner is home Blue Eyes follows them. He plays sometimes with ball, string & stuffed toys. He’s an indoor Cat. He sleeps with his cat siblings & parents.” This EXCEPTIONAL kitten earned a near-perfect AVERAGE behavior rating, but the ACC will KILL him at noon tomorrow, all because he SNEEZED! Blue eyes has no known health issues/injuries. Socialization: Around strangers Blue eyes is friendly/outgoing and affectionate. Blue eyes ‘s play style with adults is gentle & exuberant. Blue eyes hasn’t lived with/been around children or Dogs but lived with other Cats and he got along well with them, his play style with the Cats ranges from gentle-somewhat rough. They play together during the day and sleep in a bundle at night. Blue eyes hasn’t bitten/scratched any person or animal. Behavior: Blue eyes meowed during his car ride over to us. Blue eyes hasn’t been given a bath, he uses a rough rope scratching post. He enjoys being brushed, he enjoys being picked up and held “he’s a lover, he’s very affectionate”, he didn’t mind being put into the carrier and hasn’t been disturbed while sleeping. He hasn’t lived with/been around children or dogs, but lived with other cats. He got along well with them. Also, described as friendly, affectionate, playful & talkative. Reaction to assessor: Blue Eyes looks neutral in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Blue Eyes lying down by the front of the cage, alert with soft eyes. Reaction to touch: Blue Eyes accepts the stroke, rolls over in place, and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: He calmly jumps back into his cage. Placement determination: Average Blue Eyes interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
