***SAFE 12/13/15*** BLUE IS A SUPER STUNNING WHITE TURKISH VAN/PERSIAN MIX KITTEN WHO WAS DUMPED AT THE SHELTER FOR “NO TIME” ALONG WITH HIS HOUSEMATE – HE IS PERFECTLY HEALTHY BUT THE ACC WILL KILL HIM FOR NO REASON!! All we can say when we see BLUE is WOW!! This super handsome white kitten is 10 months old and was discarded like trash for NO TIME. His housemate SIMON – A1059936 is a pure white Persian who is already SAFE. BLUE was said to be affectionate and friendly and lived with young children. He loves to be around his family and cuddles with them and sits on their shoulders. This cat is a super lover! DON’T LET THE ACC KILL THIS WONDERFUL CAT – HURRY AND CONTACT A RESCUE NOW TO ADOPT OR FOSTER.

12/08/15 11:50 BASIC INFO Simon and Blue were surrendered together because their family no longer has time for them. Simon and the other cat in the home had Blue and 4 other kittens 10 months ago. SOCIALIZATION Blue is friendly/outgoing with strangers. He lived with 4 and 7 year old children and was relaxed, affectionate, and tolerant with them. He plays gently with adults and children. He lived his mother, father, and 2 siblings. He was relaxed, affectionate, tolerant, any played exuberantly with the other cats. He’s never bit/scratched anyone. BEHAVIOR Blue is nervous in the car. He enjoys being picked up and held. He doesn’t mind being woken up. He’s nervous when put in a carrier. He is used to having his hair cut and brushed and his nails trimmed by a groomer. FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW Blue’s family describes him as friendly, affectionate, playful, quiet, and medium energy. He follows his family and sits in their laps and on their shoulders and cuddles around their necks. He lived inside and ate 9 Lives dry food. He’s littertrained, used an uncovered litterbox with clumping litter, and didn’t have accidents. He scratched rugs but didn’t have a scratching post. INTAKE Blue had a soft body during handling-picking him up, holding him, scanning him (-), collaring him, and putting him in a carrier. He leaned into us while we held him. He didn’t resist, retreat, or vocalize.

Blue is friendly/outgoing with strangers. He lived with 4 and 7 year old children and was relaxed, affectionate, and tolerant with them. He plays gently with adults and children. He lived with his mother, father, and 2 siblings. He was relaxed, affectionate, tolerant, any played exuberantly with the other cats. Also, describes him as friendly, affectionate, playful, quiet, and medium energy. Reaction to assessor: Blue looks tense in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Blue remains crouched position at the back of the cage, body held tightly, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Blue growls at the assessor’s hand, shivers in place, and hisses. However, slowly accepts the stroke, but stiffens up in place with ears down to the side. Placement determination: Experience / no child Blue tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
