06/22/15 13:15 Blakely is black with white domestic shorthair cat who arrived as a stray surrender. Upon intake Blakely blinked at counselor and was receptive to introduction. Blakely was very alert and slightly tense for handling but not defensive. Counselor was able to scan for microchip (negative) collar and photograph. Blakely was receptive to arrurance and petting but would attempt to flee when not being pet. Blakely was easily replaced to carrier and was not defensive.

At the time of the assessment he was displaying friendly behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Blakeley is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
