BLAKE – A1054127
Gone 10-14-2015 Brooklyn
***GONE 10/14/15***At 1 year old this gorgeous cat, BLAKE, is just out of kittenhood! He was found wandering the streets of Brooklyn, looking for food. He’s in great health with bright eyes and a silky black, coat. BLAKE is a little shy at the shelter but with a little attention, he comes out of his shell and tolerates petting and affection. He would do great in an experienced cat home with no children. It would be such a tragedy for such a young sweet handsome cat to be put to death, but that’s what will happen today if he’s not fostered or adopted! BLAKE is all big beautiful eyes and full of possibilities. All he wants is a warm place to sleep and a little love and affection!! He will be forever grateful!! Please open your heart to this ebony sweetheart today!!

10/12/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to Assessor: Blke is hiding in a box upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Blke does not respond. Reaction to cage door opening: Blke remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Blke was hesitant, but allows gentle petting. He focuses on the assessor’s hand, lip licks, and has dilated eyes. Placement Determination: Experience No Child Blke tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
