*** SAFE 05/23/15 *** EVEN THOUGH BITSY HAS A NEW HOPE RATING, SHE HAS A NICE STAFF NOTE THAT PRESENTS A DIFFERENT PICTURE….A staff member writes: Bitsy is as tiny as her name implies — she’s a pretty and slender kitty, gentle and dainty and filled with purrs. She’s a little shy and needs someone who will give her some time to get comfortable in a new environment, but she’d make a great companion for your lazy evenings. PLEASE MAKE IT A HOLIDAY FOR BITSY AND GIVE HER THE NEW HOME SHE DESPERATELY NEEDS!!

04/14/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Bitsy was brought to the shelter as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, allows handling and tolerates some petting. Bitsy will try to run out of the cage and when attempting to stop her she tries to bit. Bitsy is displaying behavior appropriate for experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral (2) When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral (2) Reaction to door cage opening: slowly approaches the front trying to flee (2) Reaction to touch: seems indifferent to my presence and touch (2) Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling but tries to flee Placement Determination: Experience no child
