***GONE 06/01/15*** PLAYFUL BISCUIT LOVES TO RUN AROUND THE HOUSE AND IS GOOD WITH KIDS AND OTHER CATS- YET BISCUITS OWNER DUMPED HIM WHEN HE MOVED TO A CAT FRIENDLY APARTMENT!! BISCUIT is a kitty with a lot of energy and LOVES to play. In fact some people asked the owner if his cat thought he was a dog!!! BISCUIT is good with other cats and he was said to just love to be around everyone. This social kitty is now being killed because he caught the shelter cold and the ACC would rather kill than cure. IF YOU WANT AN ENERGETIC INTERACTIVE CAT WHO WILL TREASURE YOUR COMPANY AND KEEP YOU ENTERTAINED – BISCUIT IS YOUR CAT!! DON’T LET THE ACC KILL HIM AND MAKE HIM A STATISTIC. CONTACT A RESCUE GROUP NOW TO PULL HIM TO SAFETY.

05/19/15 19:08 Basic Information Biscuit is a playful and loving 9 month old, black and white cat. His previous owner had to bring her to the shelter after moving into a building that does not allow cats. Social Life and Personality Biscuit has been around kids her whole life. They range from 4-7 years old. He loves to rub up against them and play with them. He is gentle but loves to run around with them. A lot of people often ask if Biscuit thinks he is a dog because of his high desire to play and run around the house. He is comfortable around other cats; she looks at them as friends to hang out with. Behavior Issues Biscuit generally want to be friends with everyone. He is mostly an indoor cat but she will try to run outside and get into the backyard if she isn’t being watched. He will allow you to pick him up but he won’t stay with you for a long period of time. For a New Family to Know Biscuit is used to clumping litter and a hooded litter box. He has not had the luxury of being around any dogs. He is mostly kept inside. This cat would be an amazing addition to almost any home!

05/22/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Biscuit looks neutral in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Biscuit remains lying down in a relaxed position by the front, alert with soft eyes. Reaction to touch: Biscuit accepts the stroke, purrs in place, but becomes uneasy with the touch and began to meow whine and gentle nip at the assessor’s hand. He then solicits attention and starts to roll over in place. Reaction to Being Picked up: He allow the pickup and remains calm. Placement determination: Experience / no child Initially Biscuit solicits petting and attention, but after a few soft passes over the body he begins to meow whine then gentle nips at the assessor. This may be a sign of petting-induced aggression, where repeated physical contact results in discomfort for the cat, or it may be a sign of overstimulation. As a result of this observed behavior we recommend adopters who are familiar with signs of behavioral arousal and agitation in cats, so that interactions can be ended before Biscuit becomes reactive. Treats should be used to reward appropriate responses to physical attention.
