SAFE 12/18/15 Handsome Young Flame Point Siamese – BILLIE – at BACC!
Brooklyn Center
Billie A1060200 – 1 yr. male Flame Point Siamese, stray
Billie behavior was monitored by the enrichment facilitator prior to his evaluation. They noticed Billie became nervous and tried to avoid contact when approached. The next time Billie was checked on he allowed petting with a slow approach and responded well to treats.
Reaction to assessor: Billie does not come to front but looks at you calm and relaxed
When spoken quietly: Billie comes to the front of cage showing curiosity in the assessor
Reaction to door cage opening: Billie remains soft and relaxed
Reaction to touch: Billie solicits petting and attention
Try picking cat up: Billie is tolerant of this type of handling but becomes nervous when held
Behavior Determination: Average
Billie was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Billie is displaying behavior appropriate for a new cat owner.
