Pretty princess BIANCA, a stunning one-year-old SPAYED white and black kitten, was slung into the kill-happy ACC due to COST. Bianca has been around other cats of various ages and is relaxed around them. When she plays with other cats she is gentle. Bianca enjoys having her coat brushed. Bianca is friendly, affectionate, playful, mellow, confident and quiet. Her activity level is high and she likes to spend time in her favorite spot at home. Bianca likes to sit in front of windows and watch everything that goes by. Bianca likes to play with balls, stuffed toys and chasing toys. Social Life and Personality: Around strangers Bianca is shy for a few minutes then warms up to them. Bianca has never been around dogs or children so it is unknown how she reacts to them. When Bianca plays she is very gentle. Bianca has been around other cats of various ages and is relaxed around them. When she plays with other cats she is gentle. Bianca has never bitten another person or animal. Behavior: Bianca previous owner has never given them a bath or trimmed her nails. Bianca enjoys having her coat brushed and doesn’t mind when she is being put into a carrier or being disturbed while sleeping. Bianca struggles whenever someone tries to hold or carry her. For a New Family to Know: Bianca previous owner describes her as friendly, affectionate, playful, mellow, confident and quiet, Bianca activity level is high and she like to spend time in her favorite spot at home. Bianca likes to sit in front of windows and watch everything that goes by. Bianca lies to play with Balls, stuffed toys and chasing toys. Bianca is an indoor cat only and sleeps where she feels most comfortable. Bianca eats wet food from the brand Friskies twice a day. Bianca is litter box trained and uses clumping litter in an uncovered litter box. Bianca likes to use a scratching post made of carpet. Behavior during intake Patches and her sister Bianca were both shy and fearful. Bianca was very vocal but allowed handling. Patches came out of her carrier on her own and was quiet and relaxed. They both retreated to the back of the kennel. They were both easy to handle.

Reaction to assessor: Bianca was hiding under her blanket upon approach. She displayed no reaction when softly spoken to. Reaction to cage door opening: Bianca remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Bianca becomes stiff and alert when the assessor removes the blanket from over her body. She retreats to the back and stress meows. She attempts to move away from the hand to avoid touch. She allows stroke on her head and back, but flinches and continues to look for a place to hide. As per previous owner, Bianca is shy around strangers, but warms up to them after a few minutes. Her play style is very gentle and she is relaxed around other cats. She has never bitten another person or animal. She may struggle when someone tries to hold or carry her. The owner describes her as friendly, affectionate, playful, mellow, confident and quiet. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Bianca tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
