Upon extention of the hand Bella nudged it’s head towards my hand and I followed by rubbing the side of the cat. No hissing, swatting, or aggressive behavior witnessed during the time of intake. 06/29/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Puffs up fur, arches, tense body. Reaction to being spoken to quietly: Growls, hisses. Notes: Bella came in to the shelter as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment. Bella has been showing increasingly fractious behavior in her cage, and seems to be very stressed out in the shelter environment. Bella requires a rescue partner to find appropriate placement for her.
