***SAFE 09/21/15***BEAUTIFUL BEBO BROWN TABBY KITTEN NEEDS YOU! Not sure who thinks they are doing a kitty a favor when they scoop them up and dump them at the kill happy shelter. But that’s what happened to sweet six month old brown and white tabby kitten, Bebo. She was wandering, minding her own business when her finder picked her up, put her in a carrier and brought her to the ACC. Wouldn’t it have been nicer if the finder tried to find this precious angel a loving home, give her some food and just let her be? Yet day after day, precious angels like these find their lives in peril because clueless people think they’re doing them a “favor” by surrendering them to the ACC. Bebo is a little shy and frightened but certainly not aggressive—tolerating most petting and handling. She just needs a little time, TLC and will surely become a great companion and purrfect snuggler to her new purrson. Please give this little lady the chance to grow up in a loving home. Please ensure that she has an opportunity to grow up period. Please reserve Bebo online or let a rescue know if you can help by fostering or adopting this beautiful brown tabby kitten. Bebo only has tonight. We are her only hope. Don’t let her down!!!

09/15/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Bebo was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices she relaxed a little. I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. I was also able to pick her up and although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: Retreats into cardboard cat box Reaction to door cage opening: retreats Reaction to touch: seems indifferent to my presence and touch Try picking cat up: Bebo is tolerant of this type of handling but tense. Placement Determination: Experience
