GRIEVING SCARED YOUNG GIRL, DUMPED WHEN HER OLD OWNER DIED, WILL NOW DIE DUE TO HER FEAR – PLEASE GRANT BEAUTY A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Pretty three-year-old BEAUTY, a stunning white and brown tabby girl, finds herself slung into the kill-happy ACC after the DEATH of her old owner. We know that this little lady is ALREADY SPAYED and has PERFECT litter box manners, but this formerly sweet, lovable girl is GRIEVING for the loss of all she held dear, so her TERROR in the scary shelter is understandable. The ACC wrote her off as a New Hope Only behavior problem, and she also caught their notorious kitty cold, giving the ACC an easy excuse to KILL Beauty at noon tomorrow. Please step up for this betrayed grieving girl! Beauty will calm down as soon as she escapes the ACC hellhole. Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt sad, scared BEAUTY from the approved New Hope rescue groups! If you can’t save BEAUTY yourself, please SHARE her sad story and PLEDGE for her rescue!

04/07/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Beauty came to us as a stray on 3/31/15. Upon intake Beauty was reported to be hissing and striking, and did not allow any handling. She had neutral body language when initially meeting the assessor, but became stiff and uncomfortable when the kennel door was opened. She did not allow the assessor to touch, and began to growl and hiss at the assessor when attempted to touch her. The behavior department believes that placement with a rescue is the best option. Reaction to assessor: Does not come to front but remains neutral (2) When spoken to quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral (2) Reaction to cage door opening: becomes stiff, alert, tail flicks (3) Reaction to touch: Growls and hisses at you with flattended ears and eyes dislated, then retreats quickly. (4) Reaction to being picked up: Not attempted during assessment.
