6-27-2015 Manhattan Rescue: Staten Island Hope Please honor your pledges: http://www.statenislandhoperescue.org/
SAFE 6/27/15 A volunteer writes: I saw Beauty sitting in her kennel looking like she could use some company. I started petting her and she was on her back for tummy rubs. This adorable ‘teenager’ is very easygoing and sweet, playful, and affectionate. Please come meet her and see if she is your new best girl!

Beauty certainly lives up to her name yet she’s SO much more than just another pretty face! I have two dearly-loved kitties of my own but I can say without any guilt that it’s this girl who holds the title of Most Amazing Cat I’ve Ever Met. She’s super smart, affectionate, well-behaved and wise beyond her years and I was blown away by her incredible interaction with a favorite staff member. Only a few days after meeting each other they already have Beauty’s evening routine down to a science! First, the crate door is opened wide and he calls her out. Then instead of fleeing or running off to play (as I know my two rascals would) this sweet little lady steps daintily into his waiting lap and settles down for purring, petting and nap time – we’re talking lap cat perfection here people!!! It’s no surprise that Beauty earned the best possible rating on her behavior assessment and she’s already spayed and ready to leave for her new home immediately. Run, don’t walk, into our Manhattan Care Center and take home The Most Amazing Cat You’ll Ever Meet…Beauty will be waiting for you!
