BEATRICE – A1040971
6-27-2015 Brooklyn
***GONE 06/27/15*** BEAUTIFUL BEATRICE WAS DUMPED WHEN HER OWNER MOVED. NOW SHE WILL DIE FOR IT. BEATRICE lived with 2 cats and a dog, even letting the dog groom her. She would jump on the bed and sleep with her owner. BEATRICE was originally found as a stray and sadly after a few years she sits on death row in the ACC. This cat is PERFECTLY HEALTHY but got an EXPNOCHILD rating because she is tense and afraid although she allowed handling. Interesting that the owner mentions other pets but BEATRICE was the one to get the boot! PLEASE GIVE BEATRICE A DEATH ROW PARDON TONIGHT – SHE DESERVES TO HAVE A HAPPY ENDING TO HER SAD STORY. CONTACT A RESCUE NOW TO PULL HER TO SAFETY!!

06/21/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
06/21/15 16:28 Beatrice is a gray tabby that was found as a stray 3 years ago when she was one. The finder took her in as became her owner. The surrender is due to Beatrice not adapting to a life inside around humans. The owner can not hold, pet, pick her up, or be near her. Batrice lives with 2 adults and 2 other cats (a male and female) and a dog. Bea does not allow the humans to handle her, nor does she have a great relationship with eh spaye dfemale cat. The owner states she has an attachment to the male cat and dog. She allows the dog to groom her. She is an inside cat with a medium activity level. Beatrice always uses the litter box and is described as aloof and fearful. Beatrice has a scratching post that hangs from a door, but she does not use it. She will claw the couch. She stays hidden most of the day, but wil occasionally play with the owner when she uses the long stick with a feather attached. The owner saays that if Beatirce thinks she’s sleeping on the bed, Beatrice will hop on the end of the bed and lay down, as long as you are sleeping/pretending to sleep. At intake the counselor did not attempt to handle the cat to reduce stress for the cat.

06/25/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Owner Profile: Beatrice was bought into the care center by her previous owner due to not adapting well to the home. Beatrice did not allow her owner to handle her much. She lived with two other cats and a dog. Beatrice did not get along well with the spayed cat but was attached to the other cat and would allow the dog to groom her. Beatrice is litter box trained and is described as aloof and fearful. Notes: Beatrice at the time of the assessment was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer. I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: remains motionless Reaction to touch: seems indifferent to my presence and touch Try picking cat up: Did not attempt, fearful Placement Determination: Experience no child
