***SAFE 04/25/15 *** BEANS IS A KITTY WHO HAD A SPECIAL PLEA OUT FOR HIS RESCUE – NOW THE ACC WILL END HIS LIFE SATURDAY IF THAT RESCUE ANGEL DOESN’T ARRIVE! Beans is a gorgeous ginger boy who came into the shelte as a stray. He was a bit nervous on intake but if you pet him he solicits more petting and attention and rubs, chirps, and meows! This super cute boy is already neutered and only 4 years old. He would make a great companion but you have to quickly contact a rescue to pull him to safety now. BEANS DESERVES TO LIVE AND YOU CAN MAKE THAT HAPPEN TONIGHT!!

Beans come to us as a stray on 4/12/15. Upon intake Beans did not allow to be handled, and attempted to flee from the admissions counselor. Bean can be seen soliciting attention with soft body language when the assessor approaches the cage. He allows the assessor to pet him softly and head rubs the assessor’s hand with very soft body language. Bean becomes quickly agitated when picked up, but does not display any signs of aggression. The behavior department believes that Bean can go to an average home. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you – is calm, relaxed and friendly (1) When spoken to quietly: does not come to front but looks at you – is calm, relaxed and friendly (1) Reaction to cage door opening: remains soft and relaxed (1) Reaction to touch: solicits petting and attention – rubs, chirps, meows (1) Reaction to being picked up: Allows to be picked up, but becomes quickly agitated.
