BAZIE is also healthy except for the shelter cold and you guessed it, that’s why he’s on the list tonite!! GOT ROOM FOR THIS BLACK BEAUTY (and maybe his friend?) Please take note: Bazie’s former owner stated he has lived with cats and does fine around them. Also, loves to play, enjoys petting, uses a scratch post, loves to cuddle & be picked up. Reaction to assessor: Bazie looks neutral in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Bazie remains sitting upright on his cage bedding, alert with squinting eyes. Reaction to touch: Bazie hesitates at first with the touch, but then stands with tail up and began to appreciate petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: He becomes antsy and jumped back into his cage. Placement determination: Average Bazie interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
