Please take note: Bazie’s former owner stated he has lived with cats and does fine around them. Also, loves to play, enjoys petting, uses a scratch post, loves to cuddle & be picked up. Reaction to assessor: Bazie looks neutral in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Bazie remains sitting upright on his cage bedding, alert with squinting eyes. Reaction to touch: Bazie hesitates at first with the touch, but then stands with tail up and began to appreciate petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: He becomes antsy and jumped back into his cage. Placement determination: Average Bazie interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
