BABBIT – A1039808
6-17-2015 Manhattan Rescue: Feline Rescue of SI Please honor your pledges: http://felinerescueofstatenisland.org/donation/
**SAFE 06/17/15** BABBIT and CATSTELLO are two strikingly handsome dudes who were found in someone’s yard. That “someone” decided that these friendly, healthy, gorgeous boys must obviously be random stray cats, and took them right to the shelter. These boys are both a bit unnerved by the ACC, and that has played out as a New Hope rating in Catstello’s case. Babbit can be reserved on the ACC website, and both cats need someone to foster/adopt them tonight! Otherwise, those bright sweet faces will be peering out from the Gone album, shortly after lunchtime tomorrow. Please help them!

06/15/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Babbit was calm, relaxed, and friendly upon approach. When softly spoken to, he comes to the front, tries to sniff the assessor, and head-butts the cage door. Reaction to cage door opening: Babbit retreats to the back and looks at the assessor. Reaction to touch: Babbit comes forward again and head-butts the assessor’s hand. He may become cautious when pet; he stares at the assessor’s hand and stiffens up in place at times, but lightly head-butts again. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Babbit tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. He be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
