PLEASE DON”T LET SOMEONE’S FAILURE TO FIX THEIR CATS LEAD TO AUTUMN’S DEATH…This is a very sweet cat who’s good with kids…..SHE DESERVES A FAMILY, NOT A DEATH SENTENCE…..PLEASE OFFER TO FOSTER OR ADOPT AUTUMN TONIGHT!! 09/06/15 15:50 Basic Information: Autum is a 2yr old domestic short haired cat that has no past or current medical issues besides that according to the owner. Social Life & Personality: Autum comes from a home with children and she intacted with them in a gentle manner. She has also lived with other cats and she interacted with them in a playful gentle manner. The owner isn’t sure how Autum would would respond in the presence of a dog due to never having one around for her to interact with. Autum is an indoor only cat that is litter box trained. Autum is decribed to be friendly, playful and mellow with a medium activity level. Behavior Issues: Autum has never bitten a person or another animal according to the owner. The owner has never tried to bath or trim Autum nails and isn’t sure how she would respond to having this done. However she will allow you to brush her coat and she appears to enjoy it. Autum doesn’t like to be held for long and will be struggle to released after a few minutes. Autum doesn’t like being put in a cat carrier for transport and this can be a struglle when trying put her in one. For a New Family to Know: Autum was brought up using regular clay litter and a standard litter box. She enjoys all sorts of cat toys and will play with just about anything. When in the home Autum is the type to follow you around seeking attention. When interacting with humans she plays in a gentle manner. When in the car for transport she appears to enjoy it and doesn’t meow. Autum was brought up eating dry food and there was no specific brands that the owner gave.

Notes: Autumn came to the shelter surrendered by an owner who notes that she got along well with children and other cats in the home. At the time of the assessment, Autumn is displaying neutral behavior. She does not interact with the assessor but allows all handling. Autumn is exhibiting behavior suited to average cat parents.
