Reaction to Assessor: AtlanticCity becomes alert and avoids eye contact. When softly spoken to, she blinks slowly. Reaction to cage door opening: AtlanticCity remains stiff and focuses on the assessor. Reaction to touch: AtlanticCity allows brief touch, but hisses and her ears bend back. When attempting to pet her again, she swats at the assessor’s hand. Behavior Determination: NH ONLY AtlanticCity is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and/or may require further investigation before placement in a home. She has tried to swat and does not currently tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
