*** SAFE 07/17/15 *** AWESOME ARIES IS A BEGINNER WHO CAME FROM A ROUGH LIFE ON THE STREETS…..”Aries was found outside in the street. His finder kept him for 3 days. She reports that he’s friendly, affectionate, and playful and uses the litterbox. His right ear is thick and folded at the tip”….in addition, many of ARIES’ teeth are fractured!! Yet this 5 yr old is right at the front of his cage looking for attention!! Now, of course the ACC has given them their “cold” and instead of helping him have a chance to live they have him set to die!! PLEASE HELP ARIES FIND A NEW HOME TONIGHT…HE HAS BEEN THROUGH SO MUCH ALREADY AND WANTS SOMEONE TO LOVE…..SAVE HIM NOW….FOSTER OR ADOPT!!

I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 07/03/2015 from NY 10459, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

07/15/2015 Exam Type RE-EXAM – Medical Rating is 3 C – MAJOR CONDITIONS , Behavior Rating is NONE, Weight 8.6 LBS.
07/15/15 19:12 sneezing, congested and SND URI doxy 10 d 7/5 S/O: Patient is BAR on presentation. Vet check for aural hematoma and teeth fractures. Attention seeking. Tolerable of handling and cooperative of exam Oral exam: All canine teeth are fractured – tooth 204 appears to have pulp exposure and seems more acute. Tooth 104 appears absent but the surrounding gingiva appears inflamed. Teeth 304 and 404 also have chip fractures but no apparent pulp exposure. AD: No aural hematoma seen. The tip of the pinnae is deformed and bent backwards. A: Dental disease Px: Good P: Placed “soft food only” sign on kennel card Will give a course buprenex due to apparent acuteness of left upper canine – Will start sort course of Clindamycin for pulp exposed fracture.

His right ear is thick and folded at the tip. Aries had a soft, relaxed body during handling-scan (-), collar, petting, picking up, positioning for pictures, putting in kennel. He head butted us. He was easy to handle and didn’t resist/retreat/vocalize.

Reaction to touch: Aries rubs on the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: Allows the pickup and remains calm. Placement determination: Beginner Aries interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
