I am a male brn tabby and white domestic sh mix. The shelter thinks I am about 3 YEARS old.
I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 03/30/2015 from NY 11212, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY. I came in with Group/Litter #K15-008517.

04/04/2015 Exam Type RE-EXAM – Medical Rating is 3 C – MAJOR CONDITIONS , Behavior Rating is BEGINNER, Weight 7.9 LBS.
S/O: On AM rounds patient was noted to sound congested , had serous nasal discharge bilaterally. Also observed mild hypersalivation, poss. early ulcer on left upper lip. Patient was QAR otherwise; eating normally. Normal urine/stool. A: 1. URI Prognosis: Good P: 1. Move to isolation 2. Start course of Doxycycline – 0.8 mL PO SID x 10 days 3. Recheck on day 8 and 10 4. Buprenorphine – 0.2 mL SL BID x 3 days

Notes: Applemint was brought to the shelter as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to was seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Applemint is displaying behavior appropriate for a beginner cat owner. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you, is calm, relaxed and friendly (1) When spoken quietly: comes to the front of cage, soliciting, rubbing against front (1) Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft and relaxed (1) Reaction to touch: solicits petting and attention (1) Reaction to toy or novel object: plays with the object gently (1) Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling Placement Determination: Beginner
