APPLE DOUGH – A1043457
7-15-2015 Brooklyn
***GONE 07/15/15***ONE YEAR OLD APPLE DOUGH was brought into the Brooklyn ACC as a ‘stray’ with other cats. Terrified, he squeezed himself into the smallest possible shape he could, and remained motionless when petted…and then…began to purr. What happened to APPLE DOUGH? Why did he wind up here? Did he get lost and get outside? Was he dumped out onto the streets to fend for himself? We simply don’t know-but what we do know is that this little sable sort coated cat is in desperate need of being gotten out of ACC. APPLE DOUGH needs you tonight-he is a small, unassuming black cat who is already lost in a sea of other cats-black cats are least likely to make it out of the ‘shelter’ alive. Please, tonight, reach out and get this little one year old boy-who so needs you. SAVE APPLE DOUGH TONIGHT!!!

07/13/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to Assessor: Apple Dough becomes alert with wide eyes and is focused on the assessor. When softly spoken to, he shifts away and lip licks. Reaction to cage door opening: Apple Dough remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Apple Dough squeezes himself into the corner, allows petting on his head and back, but seems wary of the environment. He does warm up a little and begin to purr. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Apple Dough tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
