They declined to answer any more interview questions”…..ANNA is 10 years young and already SPAYED. You can see from her picture that she is a LOOKER…..ANNA has an AVERAGE rating and is doing OK at the ACC but she would be doing much better in a home!! After the owner decided not to seek treatment for the cat the male that she was with said they were leaving the cat. They declined to answer any more interview questions. Behavior during intake: This cat was soft body and very friendly from the start of the intake process. The cat allowed me to pet it on the head and it rubbed against my hand. The cat purred a lot and allowed me to pick it up with no issue.

Anna’s previous owner did not provide any information on her behavior and tendencies while she was in their care. However, Anna had a soft body and was very friendly throughout the intake process. She solicited attention and allowed all handling upon intake and during her initial medical exam. Please note that Anna is being treated for an upper respiratory infection at the time of the behavior assessment. It is difficult to determine at this time how the medical condition may be affecting the behavior. Reaction to assessor: Anna does not come to the front, but was calm and relaxed. Reaction when softly spoken to: Anna looks at the assessor and slowly blinks. She lowers her head to rest. Reaction to cage door opening: Anna remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Anna slowly comes to the front, leans her head onto the assessor, and allows petting. Reaction to pick up: Anna struggles and jumps back into the kennel Placement Determination: Average Anna interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
