04/19/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Anna was calm and relaxed upon approach. When softly spoken to, she looks away from the assessor and blinks. Reaction to cage door opening: Anna remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Anna sniffs the assessor’s hand, was hesitant of touch at first, but closes her eyes, and leans into the assessor’s hand after a little while. Reaction to being picked up: Anna became tense, but allowed handling. Note: Anna was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. Although she was nervous during her initial medical exam, she allowed handling without displaying any aggressive behaviors. Behavior Determination: Average Anna interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
