ANGELA – A1040457
6-22-2015 Manhattan
**GONE 06/22/15** ANGELA is an EXPERIENCE-rated torbie beauty who entered the shelter with her siblings, Topanga and Cory, back on June 17th. That was only a few days ago, but already the shelter has decided that Angela would be a good fit for the euth table, tomorrow afternoon. Humanity has really not done well by these cats. They were bred at home by irresponsible owners who did not believe in spay/neutering, but who apparently did believe it was fine to let the shelter kill their 8-month-old kittens. “Too many pets” is a lousy reason for ANGELA to be killed tomorrow, but that is exactly what will happen unless a foster/adopter steps up for her, tonight.

06/17/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
06/17/15 17:07 Topanga, Angela, and Cory were born at home. Their family surrendered them because they have too many pets. They use the litterbox, are friendly and playful with people, and are friendly with each other. Their family reports that they like to play with their owners’ hair. Angela was a little tense but allowed all handling-scan (-), collar, petting, pictures. She lied down at the back of her kennel.

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Angela’s former owner stated she is friendly and playful with people, and friendly with other cats. Reaction to assessor: Angela looks neutral in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Angela remains crouched down on her cage bedding, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Angela accepts the stroke, purrs in place, but remains cautious with her surroundings with eyes wandering. Reaction to Being Picked up: She becomes antsy then jumps back into her cage. Placement determination: Experience Angela tolerates attention and petting but may be stressed in the shelter.
