Reaction to Assessor: Andromeda was at the front meowing and soliciting attention. When softly spoken to, she continues to meow and attempts to sniff the assessor.
Reaction to cage door opening: Andromeda remains soft and relaxed.
Reaction to touch: Andromeda remains in place for petting, head-butts the assessor’s hand, begins to purr, and closes her eyes.
Reaction to being picked up: Andromeda remains soft and allows handling.
As per previous owner, Andromeda is calm around children. She doesn’t play often, but is very gentle when she does. She is normally tolerant around other cats, but may hiss at overly active, younger kittens, and may play rough. She is described as playful, friendly, confident and mellow.
Behavior Determination: Beginner
Andromeda interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat can go to a beginner home.
