very swollen RFL upper region. Cannot palpate fracture but likely humeral fx due to location and degree of swelling.
Eating well. BAR no URI signs

add clavmox in case of infection

CLEANED LATERAL ASPECT OF RIGHT ELBOW WITH NOLVASAN AND ALCOHOL — #15 BLADE USED TO MAKE LANCE — COPIOUS PURULENT MATERIAL FLUSHED FROM RIGHT ELBOW
DIAGNOSIS — ABSCESS AT RIGHT ELBOW
PROVIDED 0.3ML BAYTRIL IM AT TIME OF EXAM AND CONTINUING FOR NEXT 7 DAYS. CONTINUE WITH CLAVAMOX AND BUPRNEX AS PREVIOUSLY PRESCRIBED.
PROGNOSIS IS FAIR TO GOOD
RE-EXAM (7/19):
Previously draines rt elbow abscess is not draining this morning
Removed hair around site, cleansed and applied vetericyn
Pain is under control

BEHAVIOR:
Reaction to assessor: Andrew immediately comes soliciting at the front of the cage.
Reaction to door opening: Andrew remains at the front of the cage, soft and relaxed, soliciting attention.
Reaction to touch: Andrew rubs on the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body.
Reaction to Being Picked up: Allows the pickup and remains calm.
Placement determination: Beginner
Andrew interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting.
This cat can go to a beginner home.
