04/10/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Andrew was brought to the shelter as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying some fearful behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel and will ignore you after first but then will interact with the Assessor and tolerates some petting. Andrew is displaying behavior appropriate for experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you, calm When spoken quietly: does not come to front but looks at you, calm Reaction to door cage opening: becomes nervous/remains motionless Reaction to touch: seems indifferent to my presence and touch but after some time will warm up Try picking cat up: did not attempt Placement Determination: Experience
