05/24/15 13:57 Basic Information Allium was brought in by the police. Police say that Allium was discovered in his carrier in the precinct, and no one in the precinct knows how the cat arrived there. Behavior during Intake Allium seemed stressed during intake. Allium’s body was flat with dilated pupils. When attempting to touch, and open Allium’s cage he would growl. Allium seemed to get more stressed as intake continued, so Allium was photographed and then taken to medical.

Reaction to assessor: Allium looks neutral in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Allium remains lying down on her cage bedding, immobile in place. Reaction to touch: Allium accepts the stroke then began to purr in place and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: She becomes antsy during the pickup and jumps back into her cage. Placement determination: Average Allium interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
