10/09/15 19:49 Ali in as an all-black female kitten that came in as a stray. Finder stated that she and her husband found Ali on the street and has had her in their possession for a week. They wanted to keep her but finder expressed that she had many concerns. In the week that they had Ali, she displayed no behavior issues. She’s played every day with their 2 children aged 6 and 3 years old. Finder stated that Ali enjoys playing with socks and wheel toys. They were feeding her Purina kitten chow. Upon intake, Ali was playful and excited. She tried to play with handlers hand and was squeamish making it hard to hard to collar her. She had to be distracted with a toy to be collard and photographed.

10/12/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – BEGINNER
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Ali was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. His finder kept him for a week and he did not display any behavior issues during that time. He played with children ages 3 and 6 years old. He also enjoys playing with socks and wheel toys. He was playful and excited upon intake and was easy to handle during his initial medical exam. Reaction to Assessor: Ali was grooming himself upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Ali looks at the assessor and continues to groom again. Reaction to cage door opening: Ali remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Ali comes to the front, head-butts, and begins to purr. He leans on the assessor’s hand and rolls on his back. Reaction to being picked up: Ali remains soft and nuzzles into the assessor’s arms. Placement Determination: Beginner Ali interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
