ALEXANDRIA – A1048411
8-27-2015 Brooklyn
***SAFE 08/27/15*** WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF CUTE KITTENS THAT ARE SHY THEN PURR FOR LOVE! ALEXANDRIA is one of those babies-and tonight, as no other time, she needs you. You see, kittens lose their lives at ACC the same as adult cats do. Don’t let that happen here-this little love with her bright coat and slow blinks of recognition and affection is in danger tonight because she caught the ACC shelter cold. She is on the ‘at risk’ list and this girl needs tonight for you to stand up and say ‘yes, I will save her.’ Please-offer to foster. It will save a life here! Don’t you think she deserves it!? Or offer to adopt and get her out of that places…this baby needs you!

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to Assessor: Alexandria lowers her body behind the litter box upon approach. She looks at the assessor when softly spoken to and blinks. Reaction to cage door opening: Alexandria remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Alexandria remains immobile and her ears tilt slightly to the side. She warms up a little during the interaction, but still seems unsure. Reaction to being picked up: Alexandria remains soft and nuzzles into the assessor’s arms. Behavior Determination: Experience Alexandria tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter.
