I was found in NY 11201.

I have been at the shelter since May 04, 2015.

Behavior: Beginner

 

Reaction to assessor: Alby immediately comes soliciting at the front of the cage.

 

Reaction to door opening: Alby remains at the front of the cage, soft and relaxed, soliciting attention.

 

Reaction to touch: Alby rubs on the assessor’s hand, purrs, and appreciates petting on the head and body.

 

Reaction to Being Picked up: Allows the pickup and remains neutral.

 

Placement determination: Beginner

Alby interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting.

This cat can go to a beginner home.

Shelter Staff Made The Following Comment: Alby lays in his kennel looking like a big fur ball of love, who also enjoys paw holding and head rubs. If you are looking for affection at all times of the day, this is the cat for you! He is used to being in a household so he could settle in quite nicely at almost any home. Never had a cat before? Thats ok! Alby will fit in with an adopter who is looking to start their fur family or even one who has had plenty of cats in their family before. Don’t let his size intimidate you, that just means there is more love to go around from this big boy. Come on down to our Manhattan shelter and see just how much love this cat has to give, he sure would enjoy some love from you!
