ADVENTURE – A1034747
**SAFE 05/05/15** Please find a New Hope rescue to save ADVENTURE, tonight! This handsome guy was brought into the shelter in a trap, which is pretty much guaranteed to set the stage for a cat to be extra-fearful at the ACC. Judging from his dirty coat and unkempt dental condition, ADVENTURE has probably been fending for himself for a long, long time. Has he ever known love? Doesn’t he deserve to know how joyful life can be, as a cherished pet? Only a New Hope rescue group can give him that chance, which is why his Urgent family must advocate relentlessly for ADVENTURE, tonight.

05/01/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Adventure was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. He seems to not be thriving in this environment and at the time of the assessment he was displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. He is extremely fearful and currently does not tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time. Reaction to assessor: Stays in cat den (2) When spoken quietly: Stays in cat den (2) Reaction to door cage opening: Remains motionless (3) Reaction to touch: Urinated out of fear ,hissed Try picking cat up: Did not attempt to pick the cat up,extremely fearful Placement Determination: NewHope
