ADRIAN – A1042959
7-17-2015 Brooklyn Rescue: Hurricane Pets Please honor your pledges: http://www.HurricanePetsRescue.org/
***SAFE 07/17/15*** HEADBUTTING, PURRING “FRIENDLY” NEUTERED SENIOR “STRAY”, DUMPED WITH HIS BROTHER, HAS A GREAT BEHAVIOR RATING, BUT WILL DIE BECAUSE HE’S MISSING SOME TEETH – PLEASE GRANT ADRIAN A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Gorgeous plush-velvet ebony senior boy ADRIAN finds himself stuffed into the kill-happy ACC, along with his brother MICKIE (A1042961, still available) as a pair of STRAYS. The clueless ACC lists Adrian as both a NEUTERED MALE and as a FEMALE, but what we DO know is that Adrian was a LOVE during intake: “Adrian was calm and quiet throughout the Intake process, just observing the going ons. Adrian showed that she can be calm and receptive to touch as she allowed herself to be petted and transferred into a new carrier then the one she was brought in. Adrian did show signs of nervousness when an attempt was made to collar and photograph her. Adrian, in an environment that (s)he is calm and well adjusted to, can be friendly and open.” Adrian HEADBUTTED and PURRED his way to a very good behavior rating of EXPERIENCE, but the ACC will KILL this handsome black gent at noon tomorrow, and WHY? The only thing wrong is that he’s missing some teeth, nothing that a soft diet won’t cure, and certainly no reason for a death sentence! Please start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt adorable senior lovebug ADRIAN! If you can’t save ADRIAN yourself, please SHARE his sad story and PLEDGE for his rescue!

07/09/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to Assessor: Adrian was calm and relaxed upon approach. When softly spoken to, he looks around and lip licks. Reaction to cage door opening: Adrian remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Adrian was hesitant at first, but warms up to petting and slowly comes to the front to greet the assessor. He head-butts and begins to purr. Reaction to being picked up: Adrian becomes tense and struggles away from pick up. Behavior Determination: Experience Adrian interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting.
